“Tears of Love” …Sister Amalia Aguirre often recites this Chaplet: “The devil will be defeated and his infernal empire will be destroyed”

Sister Amalia Aguirre was a pious woman who lived in Brazil. Together with Monsignor Count Franciscus von Campos Barreto, Bishop of the Diocese of Campinas, she co-founded an institute in Campinas, Brazil. Her convent was called the Institute of the Missionaries of the Crucified Jesus. Bearing the stigmata of Christ, Sister Amalia was destined to be a victim soul for the needy, befitting her generous nature.
From the writings of Sister Amalia Aguirre of Jesus Scourged:
On November 8, 1929, while praying offering herself to save the life of a seriously ill relative, the nun heard a voice:
“If you want to obtain this grace, ask it for the tears of my Mother. All that men ask of me for those Tears are obliged to grant it “.
Having asked the sister with what formula she should pray, Jesus indicated to her the invocation:
“O Jesus, hear our supplications and our questions. For the love of the tears of your Holy Mother “.
Jesus also promised her that Mary Most Holy would entrust this treasure of devotion to her Tears to her Institute.
On March 8, 1930, while she was kneeling before the altar, Amalia Aguirre felt relieved and saw a Lady of marvelous beauty: her robes were purple, a blue cloak hung from her shoulders and a white veil covered her head .
The Madonna smiled amiably, gave her a crown whose grains, white as snow, shone like the sun. The Holy Virgin told her:
“Here is the Crown of My Tears. My Son entrusts it to your Institute as a portion of inheritance. He has already revealed my invocations to you. He wants me to be honored in a special way with this prayer and He will grant to all those who will recite this crown and will pray it in the name of my Tears, great graces. This Crown will serve to obtain the conversion of many sinners and especially that of the followers of Spiritism. Your Institute will be honored with the great honor of bringing back within the holy Church and converting a large number of members of this nefarious sect. The devil will be Defeated with this crown and his infernal empire will be destroyed “.
The Crown was approved by the Bishop of Campinas who, on the contrary, authorized the celebration at the Institute of the Feast of Our Lady of Tears, on 20 February.

… we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading Mystic Post than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Mystic Post’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
High quality journalism is essential intellectual nourishment. The generosity of providing such a service without a paywall deserves recognition and supportGiacomo P, Italy
I’ve been enjoying Mystic Posts for several years now. Today, when so much seems to be going wrong in the world, Mystic Post is working hard to provide truthful Catholic news. I want to support that Robb R. UK
I appreciate there not being a paywall: it is more democratic for the media to be available for all and not a commodity to be purchased by a few. I’m happy to make a contribution so others with less means still have access to information. Annonymous Donator
