Medjugorje: Mary “seek the things of heaven and not those of satan!”

The heavenly Mother does not stop, for a single moment, to take care of her children, as she took care of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

This was the task that the Creator decided for her, from night and time, and which began to be fulfilled at the moment of her “yes”, when Mary accepted  the invitation of the Archangel Gabriel to become the cooperator of the project of salvation. Maria has loved us ever since and her messages testify to her constant closeness.

Medjugorje: Message dated May 25, 1996 – the Bible helps you

“Dear children, let this time be the time of prayer for you, so that the Holy Spirit, through prayer, may descend on you and give you conversion. Open your hearts and read Sacred Scripture so that, through the testimonies , you too can be closer to God.

Children, seek above all God and the things of God and leave those of the earth to the earth, because Satan attracts you to dust and sin. You are invited to holiness and you are created for heaven. Therefore, seek heaven and heavenly things. Thanks for answering my call

Reflection on the message from Medjugorje for today

The Queen of Peace asks us for conversion, for this she prays for us and suggests that we consult the Word of God. In this way we will “train” to seek, cultivate the things that bring us closer to God and avoid those that, instead, there are away.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favor to ask. God is everywhere—even in the news. That’s why we view every news story through the lens of faith. More people are reading Mystic Post than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Mystic Post’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps to support it, our future would be much more secure.

Thank you
