During the fourth day of the 31st Festival in Medjugorje, bad weather breaks out which interrupts the program for the first time.
Medjugorje: the storm interrupts Mass
The Holy Mass was presided over by Msgr. Hoser who was preaching the homily at that time, when the weather became more and more threatening until a strong storm broke out. Rain, lightning, thunder and wind  forced the momentary interruption of the celebration. But in a short time, and without going too far, with decisive, swift and safe action on the part of all, the celebration was moved from the external altar to the internal one of the church of Medjugorje.
While the faithful ran to take their places between the benches to shelter from the storm that raged. The parish priest, Father Marinko Sakota, with the positive and confident attitude, even in adversity, which distinguishes him, invited to praise God also for the trial of the storm. And not to complain about the inconvenience that inevitably caused the program. But to keep peace in heart and accept the unexpected.
An intense fourth day
Despite the inconvenience of bad weather, even today was a very intense day at the 31st Youth Festival. It began with the beautiful testimony of the conversion of Sofia, wife, mother, which took place in Medjugorje, where she had an extraordinary experience of the forgiveness of God the Father during Confession. And then the catechesis of Father Ljubo Kurtovic who for many years after the death of Father Slavko Barbaric, of whom he is a spiritual son, led the Festival.
