Medjugorje The Coming Purification (This is known as the “Second Period)

For many years Fr. Slavko was seen as the spiritual center of Medjugojre until his untimely passing on Apparition Hill.

He was trusted by the young visionaries and because of this many historic words were revealed by the seers to Fr. Slavko..

The great priest said: “To better understand the significance of the secrets and prophecy attached to the events at Medjugorje we must take a step back. There are very clear words spoken by the visionary Mirjana Soldo about these important topics. Like all things said about the Queen of Peace, they cannot be erased, and they are an integral part of the mystery of Medjugorje.”

“I spoke with the visionary, Mirjana, who repeated again: ‘This period is the period of graces when many graces are given, it is the period of conversion. The second period will be a very painful purification process that will be for all humanity and at the end of this process Jesus will come and the visible sign will appear.”

During an apparition on November 2, 1985 the Fr. Slavko saw Mirjana lowering her head. She was very sad and her eyes were full of tears. After the apparition the priest asked her: What was it? Why were you so sad?.

Then Mirjana explained: “The Madonna made me see for the first time the unfolding of the first secret. It was shown to me as if I was watching a movie. What I saw was very hard and heavy. For this I am sad.

The visionary says she has asked the Madonna: “if these things will come does it mean God has a hard heart. Our Lady replied: “God does not have a hard heart, but man has a hard heart: look around you and you will see how many sins there are and you will then understand”.

As we already know for many years, Our Lady sends messages to all of us. Our Lady says precisely that every day we should be in holiness, obedience, God’s goodness, to make us more beautiful and more ready for the coming of the Lord.

In a timely message the Blessed Mother reminded us to be ready for what is coming and to be ready for your encounter with God. She said:

“Dear children, with a motherly love I am calling you to open hearts to peace; to open hearts to my Son, so that in your hearts love for my Son may sing, because only out of that love peace comes in the soul.

My children, I know that you have goodness, I know that you have love – a merciful love, but many of my children still have a closed heart. They think that they can do it without directing their thoughts towards the Heavenly Father who illuminates-towards my Son who is always with you anew in the Eucharist and who desires to listen to you. My children, why do you not speak to Him? The life of each of you is important and precious, because it is a gift from the Heavenly Father for eternity. Therefore, do not ever forget to keep on thanking Him: speak to Him.

I know, my children, that what is to come afterwards is unknown to you, but when your hereafter comes you will receive all the answers. My motherly love desires that you be ready. My children, by your life keep putting good feelings in the hearts of the people whom you meet, feelings of peace, goodness, love and forgiveness. Through prayer, hearken to what My Son is saying and act accordingly.

Anew, I am calling you to prayer for your shepherds, for those whom my Son has called. Remember that they need prayers and love. Thank you. ”
