MESSAGE OF MEDJUGORJE, THE PRAYER OF MADONNA
One day after the solemnity of the Birth of St. John the Baptist, with his testimony he announced the message and the coming of Christ; the same day of the anniversary of those apparitions with which Our Lady brings to date the meaning of witness and conversion in the word of Jesus. On June 25 we are waiting for the new “canonical” message to the visionary Marja, while a prayer published yesterday on the portal of the Shrine of Medjugorje reflected the ultimate meaning of the Marian “request” not only to the visionaries but to all the faithful who hear the word of the Mother of God through the many messages of these last 37 years of apparitions. “Live my messages and put into life every word I give you. They are precious for you because they come from heaven “: the prayer is taken from a distant message of June 25, 2002 but offers a starting point for this also and especially in the emergence of faith and humanity of our day.
TOWARDS THE MESSAGE OF 25 JUNE
Today is celebrated in the Shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Medjugorje for two different reasons: it is 25 and as every month we await the message revealed to the visionary Marja Pavlovic, but also recurring the 37th anniversary of the first appearance of the Mother of God to the then very young Bosnian seers. For the occasion, there will be many pilgrims coming from all over the world to celebrate this very special and mysterious “perennial apparition” that has lasted for almost 40 years, with conversions, testimonies and “unexplainable” events that have linked many pilgrims to these sacred places. As reported by the official portal of the Marian Shrine, “The Holy Masses in the Croatian language will be celebrated in the parish church at 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am and 11:00 am, while the solemn Holy Mass, which It will be presided over by the Provincial of the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina, Miljenko Šteko, at 7:00 pm. On that day it will be possible to approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation from five o’clock in the morning. At 10.00 pm the usual monthly nocturnal adoration of the Eucharist will begin. The Blessed Sacrament will remain in the church until 7:00 am on June 26. “ An occasion for further prayer and reflection on the presence of God and of Mother Mary in everyday life and above all on the unfathomable in these 37 years the mystery of constant apparitions and much discussed both inside and outside the Catholic Church.
