Medjugorje, Heaven on Earth

Medjugorje, Heaven on Earth

Good afternoon dearest Father Livio,

I just finished listening to today’s catechesis and the reflection on Our Lady’s latest message.

I can only thank you immensely for the unshakeable faith you demonstrate and which helps us on our journey of consolidation and/or conversion.

For me she is a “second dad”, always present, who urges me not to give up and to trust more and more in Mary and Jesus.

Thank you so much, Father Livio.

I also take this opportunity to tell you that last month I went to Medjugorje for the second time; but my husband and I convinced our children, aged 23 and 16, to come with us. The children came out of curiosity and spent unforgettable days in prayer and silence, discovering a wonderful place where everything is under the mantle of the Madonna, sensing her presence.

The youngest was even moved when we went to Eucharistic Adoration, seeing thousands of people silently praying from the heart. What a joy to be able to share such peace and serenity with my entire family!

We climbed Podbrdo and Krizevac, despite the 40-degree heat we felt, but nothing seemed to stop us; we couldn’t even feel the heat anymore. I can’t tell you how much I thank Our Lady for this grace, for Mary’s immense embrace, which I felt stronger than ever, but which also embraced my children.

If the world were like Medjugorje, we would already be in Heaven.

Always thanking her for being an excellent teacher of spirituality,

I greet you and hug you affectionately.

PS: I’m reading your book “Medjugorie, the Three Days of Salvation.” It’s an excellent spiritual guide that I’m reading in one sitting.

Dearest,

I was moved reading your testimony because I perceived the special grace that Our Lady gives to all those who go to Medjugorje with an open heart.

This is a fact, it is an indelible personal experience that an incalculable multitude of people could tell.

It is difficult for non-believers to understand this “fact” and they attribute it to a group psychological suggestion, as if a state of inner peace were so simple to obtain.

In reality, it is something not only real but divine, which Mary’s presence pours into hearts and changes people’s lives, elevating them to an interior state they had previously unknown.

As she said, in Medjugorje, in hearts that open, one experiences paradise, which, however, does not dissolve after a few minutes, but becomes a stable reality, if nourished with faith and prayer.

That is why, to strengthen it, we need to return to it from time to time.

Hail Mary

Father Livio
