The Divine Mercy did it for me
From 4 till 6 October 2024 I had the grace of attending the international days of the Apostles of Divine Mercy at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Łagiewniki, Kraków, Poland. These days were important to me because I learnt the power of the Divine Mercy chaplet. I share with you a particular testimony I experienced at John Paul II International Airport in Kraków (KRK).
The taxi came to pick me up from the place I was staying at 4.30 am. After few minutes, the taxi driver and myself were on our way to the airport. Something unusual happened. On the highway there was alot of traffic. As time was going on I started getting worried. But, immediately, the Divine Mercy prayer came into my heart. Hence, I began to pray: Jesus I trust in you. The more I prayed the more calm I felt.
We arrived at the airport around 5.15 am. Immediately I rushed in to queue. In front of me there really a big long queue to be served. There were only two employees to serve all those passengers. The process seemed so slow that it was practically impossible for me to catch the plane. It had to depart at 7.00 am and I was still trapped in that queue. At that time, when everything seemed lost, a gentle voice within me gently invited me to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. As I commenced praying it, precisely after three minutes, a corridor was created in the queue which made it possible for me to queue to the nearest counter possible. After a minute, the Polish lady at the check-in counter gently called me to go to the desk to check-in for the plane.
To cut the story short, thanks to her intervention I managed to arrive at the final call for my plane, embarked and arrived sane and sound to my country. This great experience reminded me of Jesus’ promise in Diary 1075 when, to the people who promote his Divine Mercy he solemnly promised: Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior. At that last hour, a soul has nothing with which to defend itself except My mercy. Happy is the soul that during its lifetime immersed itself in the Fountain of Mercy, because justice will have no hold on it (Diary, 1075).
The Divine Mercy did it for me! JEZU UFAM TOBIE! Jesus I trust in you!
