The cross on Križevac has disappeared I went to  Medjugorje  at the beginning of November 2017. 

On November 6, I walked to the statue of the Risen Christ to say my early morning prayers. When I was passing by the church of St. James, I looked up towards Križevac, and then, like everyone present, I saw the miracle of the cross on Križevac… There was no cross. 

I was sure that I was looking in the right direction, I had been in Medjugorje for more than a week and I knew where to look, but the cross had disappeared. I thought it might have been obscured by cloud or patchy fog.  It just wasn’t there.

Then, to the left of the cross, I saw a mysterious white figure in the form of a woman in a dress hovering over the edge of the hill. I turned my gaze back to where the cross should have been. The cross was still missing, but the white figure remained. 

I was sure I saw something unusual and then I took some photos. Afterwards, I headed towards the statue of the Risen Christ all the while trying to figure out what to do with what I had just seen (or not seen). I have never shared these pictures with anyone until now.

Around 5 pm on the evening of October 22, 1981, Fr. Janko Bubalo looked through the parish window in Medjugorje, seeing two nuns kneeling in the rain with outstretched arms in the direction of Križevac. About seventy men and women were kneeling, unaware that it was raining, also looking in the direction of Križevac. It seemed that some were crying, some were looking in awe at Križevac, and some were praying. The cross on Križevac disappeared and a statue like the image of a woman appeared.
