It was June 24th, 1981 in the village of Medjugorje, in the heart of Bosnia Herzegovina where six children reportedly started having visions of Gospa, the Croatian word for, Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, on a hill called Podbrodo, just outside the village. These Apparitions are still happening, but not on a daily basis, but instead, the Medjugorje monthly message is relayed to the world, and it calls for peace. More than 45 million people have flocked to this Apparition site and place on pilgrimage. Many miracles have been attributed to this place, including, The Miracle of the Sun. This tribute was written the first morning of arriving in Medjugorje and was first sang the following day in Saint James church in 1997 at the request of Father Father Slavko Barbaric.
