Malachi Martin & The Passion of the Church: Good Friday
“I read the 3rd Secret of Fatima” -There will be a reckoning – a dimming of the Sun -It will be the last effort of the demons to run our life.” Fr. Malachi Martin… Pope Benedict XVI cautioned: “Whoever thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is over, is deceived.”
Sister Lucia’s single-page letter of the “Third Secret” covers three topics— 1. A Physical chastisement of nations 2. A spiritual chastisement 3. The central function of Russia in the two which in fact, the physical and spiritual chastisements are to be girded on a fateful timetable in which Russia is the ratchet. Fatima : 1996 Fr Malachi Martin interview Third Secret involves Russia and Ukraine, among other things. In his book, The Last Prophet, Malachi Martin wrote that “The Salvation for the world, will start in Russia.” Malachi Martin was convinced that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Russia´s role in the Vision of Fatima is very important because if we´re to believe the Vision of Fatima, salvation for the world, the cure for the world ills, will start in the Ukraine and in Russia, and that was why the Virgin in the Fatima vision of 1917 was supposed to have spoken actively about Russia and that Russia first of all has to be cured of her errors and then she will help the entire world to get better and to cure itself of its sins. It´s a very bizarre message in that sense because one would have said that salvation was going to come from the West as we always think because we are Westerners, but no, according to the message of Fatima, salvation will come from the East, and particularly, from Ukraine and from the State of Russia itself, which is extraordinary.
Third Secret of Fatima Still Hidden- Fulda, Germany (1980) – Pope John Paul II was asked, “What about the Third Secret of Fatima? Should it not have already been published by 1960?”
The Holy Father replied: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the world power of Communism to make certain moves. “On the other hand, it should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired.”
Malachi Martin added : it also involves Russia and Ukraine . Is the Fatima Prophecy unfolding.
Art Bell: “Not long ago, someone sent me what they said was the third secret of Fatima. You have read the third secret?”
Malachi Martin: “Early A.M., February 1960 – before I read it I had to take a vow not to reveal it. It would be a shock, no doubt, some would become very angry.”
[1] M.M.: “It is not the text given to me to read in 1960. There are elements in it that belong in the text of the 3rd secret – that’s the most measured response I could give to it. The real 3rd secret is much more traumatic than what you’ve just read. The central element is awful – it’s not in what you’ve just read.”
A.B.: -“Should it be revealed?”
[2] M.M.: “I’m one small man but I have no authority to do that. I can’t make that decision… It would have such dire effects, on much more than Christians. The Cardinal who showed it to me had been present at a meeting with Pope John XXIII to outline to a certain number of Cardinals what should be done with the secret. He, John XXIII, thought it would ruin his ongoing negotiations with Khrushchev and the Kremlin.
Also, he had a different outlook on life, which two years later he echoed very succinctly, and almost contemptuous. On October 11, 1962, at the opening of Vatican II at St. Peter’s, he derided most contemptuously the people who he called ‘the prophets of doom,’ and there was no doubt in our minds that he was talking about the prophecy of Fatima. He was against that. What is in the secret is more horrible than what you’ve just read: essentially, the onslaught of natural powers…terrible catastrophes, chastisements, and that’s not the essence of the 3rd secret; it’s not the frightening one.”
A.B.: “I understand, it would be such a shock.”
[3] M.M.: “I have no authority, no angel has tapped me on the shoulder, I may be putting my foot in my mouth… Besides, it’s a question of shock, of frightening people, of polarizing society. I can’t do that… this will fill up the confessionals on Saturday evening. It will fill up the churches with worshippers striking their breasts.”
A.B.: “How much weight do you give to the Fatima revelations?”
[4] M.M.: “I consider Fatima to be the key event in the declining fortune of the Roman Catholic organization for the near future of the Church in the third millennium, the defining event… In Rome there are men among the great… with strong wills, all their lives engaged in macro-government, not merely in religion, but in state… They would not touch this with a ten foot pole… Pope John Paul II is an ardent supporter of a one world government… He wants to bring in his brand of Christianity, of course. To the UN he said, ‘I am a member of humanity.’ This is no longer Pius IX and Pius X (who said) ‘I am the vicar of Christ.’ Completely absent is the Kingship of Christ… I imagine the person who wrote what you read to me had privy to the original text – yes – at least by word of mouth.”
A.B.: “If I read the correct text, would you agree it was correct?”

Addressing half a million pilgrims in Fatima on May 13, 2010, then-Pope Benedict XVI cautioned: “Whoever thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is over, is deceived.” Both he and Sister Lucia have said that the Third Secret speaks about the end times, and reflects the prophecies in the Bible.
She is quoted in a 1986 book on the Third Secret: “The Most Holy Virgin made me understand that we are living in the last times of the world.”
Another Fatima disciple, the Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, a hugely popular American TV preacher in the last century, declared: “… the two great forces of the Mystical Body of Christ and the mystical body of Antichrist are beginning to draw up their battle lines for a catastrophic contest.”
That echoes Sister Lucia’s own words in a 1957 interview: “She told me that the devil is about to wage a decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin, … where one side will be victorious and the other side will suffer defeat. Also, from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil; there is no in-between.”
‘The world has gone the opposite way’ Well, if the Fatima apparitions are supposed to get mankind on God’s side in some cataclysmic final confrontation, it looks like the world missed the message.
The year after being nearly fatally shot, John Paul II reviewed the Third Secret, then lamented: “The world has gone in the opposite direction than the one intended by Our Lady at Fatima.”
In 1957, Sister Lucia told her interviewer Fr. Augustin Fuentes: “Father, the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one has paid attention to her message, neither the good nor the bad. The good continue on their way but without giving any importance to her message. The bad, not seeing the punishment of God actually falling upon them, continue their life of sin without even caring about the message. But believe me, Father, God will chastise the world and this will be in a terrible manner.”
Father Malachi Martin has told us that he has read the Third Secret — he announced that on the Art Bell radio program, which we have on audio tape. In addition, in answer to a number of questions, Father Malachi Martin stated that Our Lady came to Garabandal, Spain, because the Third Secret was not released in 1960 as She had requested. As a result, Our Lady appeared in 1961 — one year after the Vatican failed to release the Third Secret — and She basically released the Secret to the four children at Garabandal, or at least within the message of Garabandal. And the most striking thing of all in that message is “many Cardinals, bishops and priests are going to hell and dragging many souls with them” and that a great chastisement awaits mankind because of the sins of this time.
