What did he do and why did his parishioners call Father Jozo the new Moses?

Not only for his dedication to the word and but for the protection of the visionaries. God spoke to Fr. Jozo just like God spoke to Moses.

It was he, before others, who led and protected the visionaries, then very young, so much so he deserves the title of “New Moses”.

Fr. Jozo: “It was then I heard a voice that spoke to me – a human voice – voice like mine…”Go and protect the children.”

Father Jozo teaches us what the attitude of the faithful who wants to go to Medjugorje and follow the messages of the Queen of Peace should be:

 Many adults do not know how to read clearly the Bible, because for a long time our population was a slave of the Turks who did not allow Christians to go to school; only if they were Muslims, they could. But our good people preferred to keep their faith. But those who can read, have the Bible and the law with tears.
