On different occasions, Mirjana has spoken of the time when she received details about the future of the world.
She says Our Lady reassures her that God the Father is merciful and that he loves us, but she admits she was initially frightened at the revelations and prays to Our Lady for mercy on mankind.
In an interview with Radio Maria Father Livio asked Mirjana the following questio about the secrets that troubled the visionary.
“Mirjana, you know all the secrets. Even without revealing anything from them, what can you say to the world today about these difficult secrets?”
“I have prayed; the punishment has been softened. Repeated prayers and fasting reduce punishments from God, but it is not possible to avoid entirely the chastisement.
Go on the streets of the city, count those who glorify God and those who offend Him. God can no longer endure that.”
Famed Vatican mariologist, René Laurentin, spoke with Mirjana about the secrets as well, and he wrote an important letter to Pope John Paul II about all that Mirjana told him.
In the letter he writes:
“During the apparition of December 25, 1982, according to Mirjana, Our Lady confided her the tenth and last secret and revealed the dates in which the different secrets would occur.
The Virgin has revealed to Mirjana many aspects of the future, so far more than those told to the other seers. This is why I report here what Mirjana told me in the interview on November 5, 1983.
Mirjana said the Queen of Peace told her: “ My angel, pray for the unbelievers. People will tear their hair, the brother will beg his brother, he will curse his past life, lived without God. They will repent, but it will be too late. After this Our Lady
Then showed me, like in a movie, the realization of the first secret. The earth was desolate. “and there was upheaval in a region of the world”.
Mirjana cried and asked the Virgin Mary. “ Why so early?
The Queen of Peace: “There are too many sins in the world. God does not have a hard heart. Look around and see what men do, and then you will no longer say that God has a hard heart.”
The secrets speak of a difficult future but as always Our Lady reminds us she is with us here, in a special way, to lead us to Heaven. This is why she says not to worry about the secrets but rather to live her messages with the heart.
The Queen of Peace reminds us in a powerful way that she is with us and will never leave us. SHe hears our cries.
She said to Mirjana On June 25, 2020:
“Dear children! I am listening to your cries and prayers, and am interceding for you before my Son Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Return, little children, to prayer and open your hearts in this time of grace and set out on the way of conversion. Your life is passing and, without God, does not have meaning. This is why I am with you to lead you towards holiness of life, so that each of you may discover the joy of living. I love you all, little children, and am blessing you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
