Our Lady of Fatima & the Miracle of the Sun | Fatima 1917

Three children said the Virgin Mary would give a sign. Then thousands gathered at Fatima. In 1917, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta reported seeing Our Lady at Fatima, Portugal.

She asked them to pray the Rosary every day for peace and called for conversion, sacrifice, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. Even after being detained and pressured, the children would not deny what they said they had witnessed.

Then came October 13, 1917. Before an enormous crowd, Our Lady identified herself as the Lady of the Rosary. Witnesses then reported the extraordinary solar phenomenon remembered as the Miracle of the Sun. More than a century later, the message of Fatima continues to call the world to prayer, conversion, sacrifice, and peace. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. 🙏
