Jesus says :
« Those who do not know love and who do not have a clear conscience fear death. And they are the most! When they feel threatened by death due to illness or age or any other circumstance, they become afraid, distressed and rebel. They also try, with all their strength and means, to escape it. In vain, because when the hour is marked no amount of caution can avert death.
The time of death is always right because it is given by God . I alone am the Master of life and death and, if certain means of death, used by man through demonic instigation, are not mine, the sentences of death are always mine, given to relieve a soul from too much earthly torment or to prevent greater sins of that soul.
Now observe: the gift of life, of a long life, why can it be given by Me? For two reasons.
The first: because that creature who benefits from it is an enlightened spirit who has the mission of being a beacon for other spirits still shrouded in the mists of materiality. Many of my saints have reached old ages precisely because of this. And only I know how they yearned instead to come to Me.
Second: I give long life to provide the means, all the means, for a formless creature to form itself. Studies, friendships, holy encounters, pains, joys, readings, punishments of war or illness, everything is given by Me to seek that a soul grows in my Age which is not like yours. Because I want to say that growing up in my Age means growing up in my Wisdom, and you can be an adult in my Age while having the age of a child in yours, or vice versa be childish in my Age while being a hundred years old in yours. I don’t look at the age of your dying flesh: I look at your spirit, and I would like you to become spirits who know how to walk, talk, act confidently and not stammering, shaky and incapable of acting like little children!
This explains why I say my “Enough” very quickly for creatures that I find adults in Faith, in Charity, in Life. A father always wants to be reunited with his children and with what joy, once their education or military service is over, he does not hold them close to his heart! And will the good Father you have in Heaven be different? No. When he sees that a creature is adult in spirit, he burns with the desire to take her with himself, and if, out of pity for the people, he sometimes leaves his servants on Earth so that they can be a magnet and compass for others, sometimes he does not resist and gives himself joy of placing a new star in Heaven with the soul of a saint.
They are two attractions and two aspirations coming from a single agent: Love. The soul, here where you are, attracts God to itself, and God descends to find his delights in the loving creature that lives of Him. The soul aspires to ascend to be eternally and without veils with its God. God, from the center of its ardor, it attracts the soul to Itself, just as the sun attracts the drop of dew, and aspires to have it near It, a gem closed in its triple fire that gives Bliss.
The raised arms of the soul meet the outstretched arms of God, Mary. And when they touch, they touch quickly, it is ecstasy on Earth; when they hold each other for a long time it is the endless Bliss of Heaven, of my Heaven which I have created for you, my beloved ones, and which will give me an overflow of joy when it is filled with all my beloved ones.
What an eternal day of immeasurable joy is ours, of us who love each other: We, the Triune God; and you, the children of God !
But those who unfortunately did not understand my Love, did not give me their love, did not understand that only one science is useful – that of Love – for them death is fear. They are afraid. They are even more afraid if they feel they have done little or not well at all.
The lying mouth of man – because the mouth of man rarely speaks the truth so beautiful and blessed, the truth that I, Son of God and Word of the Father, have taught you to always say – the lying mouth of man says, to deceive and comfort himself and deceive others: “I have acted and am acting well”. But conscience, which stands like a two-sided mirror under your self and under the eye of God, accuses man of not having acted and of not acting at all as well as he proclaims.
Therefore a great fear haunts them: the fear of the judgment of Him to whom man’s thoughts, actions and affections are not hidden. But if you fear me so much as Judge, O wretches, why don’t you avoid having me as Judge? Why don’t you make Me your Father? But if you fear me, why don’t you act according to my orders? Can’t you listen to me when I speak to you with the voice of a Father who guides you, hour by hour, with a hand of love? But at least obey me when I speak to you with the voice of a King. It will be less rewarded obedience, because it is less spontaneous and sweet to my Heart. But it will always be obedience. So why don’t you do it?
Death cannot be avoided. Blessed are those who will come at that hour dressed in love to meet Him who comes. As placid as the passing of my father of the Earth, who knew no tremors because he was a just man who had nothing to reproach in his life, will be his death. Joyful as the sleep of my Mother, who closed her eyes on Earth on a vision of love, since her whole life that knew no sin was of love, and she reopened them in Heaven waking up on the Heart of God, it will be the end of lovers.
Do you know, my joy, how beautiful it will be for you too? This morning, when I-Eucharist came, you had a leap of ecstasy because you saw me give you Myself. But that’s nothing. A grain of ecstasy thrown into your heart. Just one, so as not to incinerate yourself, because you heard it… you thought you were dying in the emotion. But when the time comes I will pour out a river of joy, because it will no longer be necessary to maintain your human life and we will go away together.
Courage, a little more pain for the love of your Jesus and then your Jesus will abolish the pain for you to give you Himself, completely, Himself, joy without measure.»
In fact, this morning I had such a vivid impression that I almost screamed. Because we scream not only out of fear or pain, but also out of too much joy. I believed that my heart would give way in joy and I would die like this, with the host still on my tongue.
