I need you prayers. Please pray for me
In one of these days I was invited for a TV program. As I entered the reception I found him there, sitting, with a downcast look. His voice seemed strange to me.
To cut a long story short, after exchanging some words he told me: I need your prayers Father. Please pray for me. The tone of his voice touched my heart. Yes, this man needed prayers badly. He needed to experience God’s mercy in his life.
Upon this thought two things came to my mind. First, every person has a right to Jesus’ mercy. In entry 723 of the Diary Jesus said to Faustina: The graces I grant you are not for you alone, but for a great number of other souls as well… And your heart is My constant dwelling place, despite the misery that you are. I unite Myself with you, take away your misery and give you My mercy. I perform works of mercy in every soul. The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy. My mercy is confirmed in every work of My hands. He who trusts in My mercy will not perish, for all his affairs are Mine, and his enemies will be shattered at the base of My footstool.
The second thought was this: I was going to pray for this person the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. To St Faustina Jesus said: My daughter, encourage souls to say the chaplet which I have given to you. It pleases Me to grant everything they ask of Me by saying the chaplet (Diary, 1540). Whereas in entry 1731 Jesus details this condition in the Diary of St Faustina: Through the chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will.
From now on every time a person will ask me for special graces I shall be praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet for that person right away.
