Have the visionaries of Medjugorje ever seen the other?

The visionary Jakov said he had been there and had seen the penitent souls in Purgatory.

Here is part of the interview that Jakov released to Father Livio of Radio Maria. He speaks of the journey that led him to see Paradise, Purgatory and Hell, at the behest of the Queen of Peace of Medjugorje. The words he spoke, describing Purgatory, speak to us of souls who constantly need our attention and our prayers:

JAKOV: I can’t say anything else to describe it, except to say that it was a kind of fog. In there we saw only movements, but we didn’t see people cleatly. Our Lady told us that we must pray so much for the souls in Purgatory, because they really need our prayers.

FATHER LIVIO: In this way the Purgatory is shortened? 
JAKOV: Yes. Today we often say, and I too have often heard it , that one of our loved ones, who died, has surely gone to Heaven. Only God knows where our dead are.

FATHER LIVIO: In your opinion, then how can we help them? 
JAKOV: We can pray for our dead. Offer holy Masses for them. 
FATHER LIVIO: Very right … 
JAKOV: This is why Our Lady turns to us.

Therefore, even the Queen of Peace invites us, through the visionary Jakov, never to forget that the souls of our loved ones could stop in Purgatory and that they need our prayers and the Holy Masses of indulgence to get a discount of punishment and reach, as soon as possible, the longed-for glory of God.
