Good soldiers are taught that we’re not entitled to comforts and privileges; that The Mission is everything, and our lives may be forfeit; that failure isn’t fatal and success isn’t final; that our brothers in arms are truly brothers in deed; that ‘the unit’ must act as one entity, and we leave nobody behind; that the stakes are higher even than life and death.
