Dear friends, once again the Queen of Peace invites us to recite the Holy Rosary for her intentions. Undoubtedly there is a reference to the month of October, which recalls the last apparition of the Madonna at Fatima, where she appeared as the Queen of the Holy Rosary. In these decades of her apparitions Our Lady urged us to recite the Rosary in the most difficult moments, as a weapon against Satan. He has done so lately through Ivan, revealing the plan of the prince of this world on humanity “which is each day more distant from God and, instead of God, puts itself first” (from the message of the Queen of Peace of 17 September).
Our Lady invites us not only to pray, but also to meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary, in which the work of redemption is enclosed, so that, looking to Jesus, the joys and sorrows of our lives are also sanctified, otherwise we would live in the dark and our questions would remain unanswered. Meditating on the mysteries the faith is renewed and one has the strength to put our life in the hands of God, as Peter did when, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, he placed himself at the call of Jesus.
Our Lady, as always, invites us to witness, living “the love with which God envelops you with my presence day by day”. Who could have found a more beautiful expression than the Madonna herself?
