The Five Reasons 

1. The importance of March 18th – The Crimea annexation has put the Medjugorje prophecies in motion.  Russia annexed Crimea on March 18th 2014 and now Russians celebrate this event each year on that date. Mirjana said in her autobiography: “Our Lady told me many things that I cannot yet reveal. I can only hint at what the future holds, but I do see indications that the events are already in motion.”…

 

About the important of March 18th –  “Something in the future is going to happen on March 18th. Many of you know this. Mirjana’s birthday is March 18th, but Our Lady did not pick this date because it is Mirjana’s birthday. Our Lady has never given Mirjana a “Happy Birthday” salutation. While visionary, Marija, on the other hand, has been told “Happy Birthday” by Our Lady. Why not then to Mirjana? Because the date of March 18th holds great significance in the future, unrelated to Mirjana’s birthday, and it is for that reason that Our Lady chose March 18th to appear to her. What year is the future event on March 18th going to happen? 

One could argue that the potential world wide crisis unfolding now began with the annexation of Crimea by Russia on March 18th.    Crimea is considered the birth place of Orthodox Christianity in Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin has defended Moscow’s annexation of Crimea  by invoking Kievan Rus leader Vladimir the Great, who is said to have been baptized on the peninsula in the 10th century and converted the medieval Slavic state to Orthodox Christianity. – According to legend, in 988 Vladimir the Great converted to Orthodox Christianity on the peninsula in the city of Khersones, also known as Korsun, near modern-day Sevastopol, after which he returned to Kyiv and ordered the baptism Kievan Rus.

 

2. Medjugorje’s Russia Prophecy: “Russia will come to glorify God the most; the West will make modern progress but without God and will act like their own creator.” The Queen of Peace at Medjugorje October 1981 –

3. “Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima” – The Queen of Peace .  To this day Russia’s  prominent role in the Fatima secrets remains a mystery.  But now we can see how Russia, uniquely,  connects Medjugorje to  Fatima. The fact that Russia played a dominate role in the Fatima apparitions it stands to reason that Russia would have a significant part in the Medjugorje secrets.

August 25, 1991 “Dear Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. Satan is strong and wants to sweep away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call.”\

 

4. The Ukraine/Russia/ Fatima connection – In a 1996  interview Fr Malachi Martin  said that  Third Secret involves Russia and Ukraine, among other things. Fr. Martin  claimed to have read the third secret of Fatima.  In his book, The Last Prophet,  Malachi Martin wrote that  “The Salvation for the world, will start in Russia.”  Malachi Martin was convinced that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary would begin with Russia.

Russia´s role in the Vision of Fatima is very important because if we´re to believe the Vision of Fatima, salvation for the world, the cure for the world ills, will start in the Ukraine and in Russia, and that was why the Virgin in the Fatima vision of 1917 was supposed to have spoken actively about Russia and that Russia first of all has to be cured of her errors and then she will help the entire world to get better and to cure itself of its sins. It´s a very bizarre message in that sense because one would have said that salvation was going to come from the West as we always think because we are Westerners, but no, according to the message of Fatima, salvation will come from the East, and particularly, from Ukraine and from the State of Russia itself, which is extraordinary.

5. Medjugorje’s 40th anniversary – As the crisis between Russia, USA and Ukraine intensifies it is worth noting that these events are unfolding just 2 months before  Medjugorje’s 40th anniversary of the Virgin Mary appearing – The  apparitions began on June 24, 1981.

“There is no time to hesitate to kneel before my Son, to recognize him as God “.

Father Livio Fanzaga researched Our Lady’s messages  and he was concerned by Our Lady’s frequent  expression that translated as “No time” or  “There is no time to lose”, “There is no more time”, “Time is running out”.

Because of Our Lady’s statement  about the Time of Secrets Fr.
