Spiritual thought on the call of the Queen of Peace
Dear friends, this is undoubtedly Mary’s time and, at the same time, it is Satan’s time. We are in the midst of the apocalyptic battle between the woman dressed in the Sun and the infernal dragon. In this context we must understand the thanksgiving that Our Lady gives every time she gives a message, she also did it in the extraordinary message given on January 1, 2024: «Thank you because you responded to my call and prayed for my intentions. Neither you nor your children nor your children’s children will regret it . “
It is therefore important to understand the value of this expression that Our Lady often, or almost always, repeats at the end of the messages. So far we have accepted Our Lady’s messages and her invitation to go on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje precisely because, as Our Lady herself said, all those who go there respond to her call. In reality we must broaden the context of this expression and place it in the time of the great spiritual battle in which Satan is free from chains, it is the time of the first battle of the Apocalypse. This epochal context of great value from the point of view of the History of Salvation opens up to the end times.
The first phase of the Apocalypse began with the apparitions of the Queen of Peace in June 1981. It is a highly dramatic phase that progressed through Satan’s systematic attack on the Church, on Christianity, on faith, on the work of Christ, so much so that in the last fifty years it has almost succeeded in significantly weakening the Church in countries of ancient Christianity.
A new era has begun, that of man in the place of God, which is practically Satan in the place of God. As regards the two thousand year history of the Church, this is the greatest attack on the work of Creation and Redemption.
Our Lady was sent by Her Son for the great battle : “I will put enmity between you and the woman”. It is in this context that we understand the call of the Queen of Peace. Regarding our belonging to the Church, Our Lady calls us. It is a call to spiritual arms, particularly to the Rosary. It is a call to all those who open their hearts to defend the faith, to defend the work of Creation and Redemption, it is a call to heroic testimony, it is a call to ensure the world a time of peace and prosperity. When Our Lady speaks of peace, she refers to our peace with God and therefore the prerequisite for there to be peace among men.
This is the vastness of the calling. We are in this time of decisive struggle in which there is a call to arms. Obviously the devil will do the same, he will call on him, there is no doubt. Indeed, the winds of evil, hatred and death blow. Satan blows in such a way that souls dry up and are tossed here and there by the winds. Satan wants to undermine hearts with hatred.
There is a double call: Mary’s call to faith, conversion and testimony; Satan’s call to get rid of Christianity, to join him in the fight against God and against the work of Creation and Redemption. The world has responded to Satan’s call, just look around!
We must be the ones who respond to Our Lady’s call. Anyone, anywhere in the world can answer the call, in any situation, at any age.
Obviously, the people present responded to the call of the Madonna on Podbrdo (1 January 2024). To these, however, we must add all those who united in prayer and who were there ideally.
From this perspective, then, we must conceive Mary’s call. In the time of trials we must enter prepared.
