Malachi Martin before his death had some extraordinary things to say about Fatima, the Third Secret, and Russia. Fr. Malachi Martin, who claimed to have read the “Third Secret” in the 1960’s, hinted that Russia was the key to the ‘Third Secret of Fatima’. He wrote:
Sister Lucia’s single-page letter of the “Third Secret” covers three topics—
1. A Physical chastisement of nations
2. A spiritual chastisement
3. The central function of Russia in the two which in fact, the physical and spiritual chastisements are to be girded on a fateful timetable in which Russia is the ratchet.
Fatima : 1996 Fr Malachi Martin interview Third Secret involves Russia and Ukraine, among other things. In his book, The Last Prophet, Malachi Martin wrote that “The Salvation for the world, will start in Russia.” Malachi Martin was convinced that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Russia´s role in the Vision of Fatima is very important because if we´re to believe the Vision of Fatima, salvation for the world, the cure for the world ills, will start in the Ukraine and in Russia, and that was why the Virgin in the Fatima vision of 1917 was supposed to have spoken actively about Russia and that Russia first of all has to be cured of her errors and then she will help the entire world to get better and to cure itself of its sins. It´s a very bizarre message in that sense because one would have said that salvation was going to come from the West as we always think because we are Westerners, but no, according to the message of Fatima, salvation will come from the East, and particularly, from Ukraine and from the State of Russia itself, which is extraordinary.
Third Secret of Fatima Still Hidden- Fulda, Germany (1980) – Pope John Paul II was asked, “What about the Third Secret of Fatima? Should it not have already been published by 1960?”
The Holy Father replied: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the
world power of Communism to make certain moves. “On the other hand, it should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired.”
Malachi Martin added : it also involves Russia and Ukraine .

Prophecies given by Our Lady to Blessed Elena Aiello:
“Russia will march upon the nations of Europe, particularly Italy, and will raise her flag on the dome of St. Peter’s. Italy will be severely tried by a great revolution, and Rome will be purified in blood for its many sins., especially those of impurity. The flock is about to be dispersed, and the pope must suffer greatly.”
“The hour of the justice of God is close, and will be terrible. Tremendous scourges are impending over the whole world, and many nations are struck by epidemics, great earthquakes, terrific hurriacnes with overflowing rivers and seas, which will bring ruin and death. If the people do not recognise in these scourges the warnings of Divine Mercy and do not return to God with truly Christian living, another terrible war will come from the East to the West. Russia, with her secret armies, will battle America and will overrun Europe.”
“People pay no attention to my motherly warnings, and thus the world is falling headlong evermore into an abyss of iniquity. Nations shall be convulsed by terrible disasters, causing destruction and death. Russia, spurred on by Satan, will seek to dominate the whole world and, by bloody revolutions, will propagate her false teachings throughout all nations, especially in Italy. The Church will be persecuted and the Pope and the priests will suffer much.”
Then, Sr. Elena Aiello added: “Oh, what a terrible vision I see! A great revolution is going on in Rome! They are entering the Vatican. The Pope is all alone; he is praying. They are holding the Pope. They take him by force. They knock him to the floor. They are tying him. Oh God! Oh God! They are kicking him. What a horrible scene! How dreadful!”
Sr. Elenal Aiello was beatified in Piazza dei Bruzi on September 14th. 2011. During her beatification ceremony, Cardinal Angelo Amato drew attention to Bl. Elena’s gift of prophetic word. This, in effect, instructs the whole Church that the dire warings contained in these prophecies, which bear a striking similarity to those given by Our Lady at Fatima, Garabandal, Akita and elsewhere are relevant to our times.
Should these prophecies concerning Russia’s role in the terrible, but desperately necessary chastisement of the West be fulfilled, then it is preposterous to propose that this will be the work of a “converted” Russia. What we are witnessing in Russia now, as far as resurgent Christianity is concerned, is Russian Orthodox triumphalism. The Orthodox Church in Russia is, and always been an instrument of the State, and does the bidding of the State, even in Czarist times and before. The Russia that will play a major role in the re-evangelisation of the West will necessarily be a Catholic Russia. This conversion and reunification with Rome will be effected by the requisite collegial consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, once Russia has inflicted as much punishment on the West as God sees to be necessary.
