THE EXORCIST: ‘THE PRESENCE OF SATAN IS NO LONGER HIDDEN, THE GREAT FINAL BATTLE IS UNDERWAY’
From the diary of Monsignor Stephen Rossetti , a famous American exorcist, we present a text entitled: Have Satan’s 100 Years Passed”Why did the Church actually start training exorcists only in the last few years, after a decades-long drought? When I started in this ministry many years ago, there were only a handful of exorcists and no formal training. Even now, despite the Holy See’s requirement that every diocese have an exorcist, there are still entire countries without one. Moreover, almost all seminaries still do not include any deliverance training. Now, however, there is a real explosion of interest here and in some countries abroad, and many young priests are getting involved in the work of liberation. St. Michael’s Center provides ongoing training for exorcists and has trained hundreds of priests in the ministry of deliverance, including how to recognize the presence of the Evil One and cast them out in the name of Jesus.Has it been a hundred years? Before, Satan could hide and secretly carry out his destructive work. Those days are fast disappearing. Why the change? Here is a quote from an article by the Catholic News Agency:On October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII, immediately after mass, turned pale and collapsed as if dead. Those standing nearby rushed to his side. They found him alive, but the pope looked terrified. Then he told how he had a vision: Satan is approaching the throne of God, boasting that he can destroy the Church.According to Pope Leo XIII, the Lord reminded him that his Church is imperishable. Satan then replied: “Give me one century and more power for those who will serve me, and I will destroy it.” Our Lord gave him 100 years. The church is not destroyed, the final battleThe 20th century was a particularly brutal century with two world wars and more. But now 100 years have passed. The church was not destroyed. And the growing army of exorcists together with a multitude of faith-filled, zealous laymen is fighting back, with the power of Christ. This final battle, which culminated at the end of those 100 years, is upon us.The presence of Satan is no longer hidden. The battle is ahead and it is clear. 300 Catholic churches in the US alone have been attacked since May 2020, and the number is escalating.Hundreds of thousands of people openly claim to be witches, Wiccans, occult practitioners, and/or Satanists. Basic moral values are openly challenged to the degradation of people and their families, including our children.Statues of the evil demon, Baphomet, are publicly consecrated. The Bible tells us: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this dark world, against evil spirits…” (Eph 6:12).But we are safe and calm. In an exorcism, when I hear demons, including Baphomet, howling and screaming at the sight of a crucifix or being sprinkled with holy water, I am reminded that even the most powerful demons are dust in the presence of the Son of God.Saint Michael and the faithful angels cast out Lucifer and his minions at the beginning of time and will definitely do so at the end. This time they will have some help from their friends.
