Miracle Painting in Medjugorje: Unbeliever Priest Encounters a picture of Our Lady…Then the “Smell of Roses” arrives and from that moment he began to believe.

This is the singular story of Father Jarek Cielecki , who had had the Madonna Assunta painted, to carry it to parishes all over the world.
The painting represented the same image preserved in the parish where he worked and prayed to Pope John Paul II , when he was still a priest.

One day, Father Jarek Cielecki arrived in Medjugorje with that painting and gave them a sign from the Queen of Peace.

Until then, the priest had not been inclined to believe the apparitions , but then something happened that made him change his mind forever.

He began to smell roses and, them in the afternoon of the day when the Virgin appeared to the seer Ivan, he felt that the smell came from the painting and the smell was so strong that it came to all those who stood next to him. Then, all together, they also saw the sun that was expressed in a “dance” and then turned into a pulsating host.
