Take Refuge – How to Obtain Complete Forgiveness of Sins and Punishment on Divine Mercy Sunday
Take Refuge in the Feast of Divine Mercy
April 9, 2021
“I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of my tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fountain of my mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the Divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened.”
~Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska
This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy. Jesus revealed that the Devotion to Him as Jesus King of All Nations is to be “a companion devotion to that of My Mercy as given to My beloved daughter, Faustina, and to that of My Sacred Heart as given to My beloved daughter, Margaret Mary.” (Journal 165, See the Journal here). The Devotion is in furtherance of the devotion to Christ the King as taught by Pope Pius XI in his encyclical letter Quas Primas.
Jesus also said, “My child, you do not yet fully perceive the great importance of this Devotion of mine. It is to be no less significant than that to my most Sacred Heart or that to my Divine Mercy. Indeed it is the culmination of these two as they are both found within the one crowned by the sacred truth of my Supreme and Sovereign Kingship.” (Journal 550 ). Jesus continued, “When one venerates this image [of Jesus King of All Nations], my Sacred Heart and my Divine Mercy are also venerated.” (Journal 554).
At a time when our secular Culture of Death is growing, it is very appropriate to enthrone and venerate the image of Jesus King of All Nations. By doing this we will respond to the call of Pope Pius XI and receive abundant blessings. He wrote, “To secure an abundant and prominent harvest of blessings… it is necessary that our Savior’s royal dignity should be as widely as possible recognized… .”
We must recognize Him as our True King and implore His mercy for our country and our families. He will surely graciously grant His mercy to those peoples and nations that recognize Him as True King! Jesus is our sure refuge in these most evil and truly dangerous times, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 virus pandemic that Jesus called the beginning of his prophesied chastisements in his 2020 Message of March 18.
The Image
The image shows Jesus as King of All Nations crowned and holding the scepter of His kingship in His right hand. Above the scepter are three concentric rings as in one atom that symbolize the Most Holy Trinity, unity in God, in His Church and in nations. Rays of light shine from His wounds that symbolize His merciful graces. Blood flows from His wounded Sacred Heart upon all nations that symbolizes His love.
Around the bottom of the image is the ejaculation, “O Jesus, King of All Nations, may your Reign be recognized on earth.”
Jesus said, “This image, my child, must become known. My daughter, those souls who venerate this image of Mine will be blessed with my peace.” (Journal 7, 14-15). We should respond to His call by enthroning and venerating His Image to receive His divine mercy and peace.
Enthrone and Venerate His Image for Divine Mercy
Jesus invited us to enthrone His image and to pray before it. He said, “My children, come before My Image and pray for your countries. Pray for your people. Pray for your families. Pray for My Mercy which I will graciously grant to those peoples and nations that acknowledge Me as True King! I AM your sure refuge in these most evil and truly dangerous times.” (Journal 24). That is why it is so appropriate to venerate His image on Divine Mercy Sunday.
He also said, “Enthrone this My image everywhere for I shall be powerfully present there and the Power of My Sovereign Kingship shall surely shield you from My Just Judgment. Be strong and do not lose hope. I Am with you to save you.” (Journal 418-419). His justice is coming soon! Jesus’ Prophecy and the Prophecy of Father Ratzinger, later Pope Benedict XVI, of a Renewed Church
Jesus King of All Nations prophesied that “a great renewal of My Holy Church, of mankind and indeed of all creation will follow the cleansing action of My Justice.” He said, “How greatly I Love My people! It is for your good O mankind that I allow My Justice to be poured out in order to awaken your conscience and correct your sinful behaviour. Yet you see how dearly I Love you in that I continually warn you and even seek to comfort you in the pain of the cleansing which is almost upon you.” (Journal 414).
Similarly, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, then theologian Father Ratzinger, spoke about the future of the Church. He prophesied, “It will become small and will have to start pretty much all over again. It will no longer have use of the structures it built in its years of prosperity. The reduction in the number of faithful will lead to it losing an important part of its social privileges. It will be a more spiritual Church, and will not claim a political mandate flirting with the Right one minute and the Left the next. It will be poor and will become the Church of the destitute.” He prophesied that “when all the suffering is past, a great power will emerge from a more spiritual and simple Church” and that this renewed Church will be a sign of hope for those who have not come to know the love of God.
Let us respond to Jesus’ request to “come before His image” and let us receive His Divine Mercy to ease the pain of His cleansing which is almost upon us! Read my book Chastisements – Preparation and Protection Against Them. Let us pray that Jesus is publicly proclaimed as our True King and that He receives the honor of soon being enthroned and venerated in His image in homes and Catholic churches throughout the world.
Help Spread the Devotion
One of our supporters sent me a letter to help to encourage you to spread the Devotion. Please read it below and consider it as a personal letter to you:
Praised Jesus Christ!
I am writing to you today to implore your help in spreading the knowledge of the Devotion to Jesus King of All Nations.
Each day, my heart breaks a little more as I see our Nation sliding toward chaos and death. It is time for each one of us to cling to Our Lord as never before so that we can stand and do and be what we are called to be in these decisive times. How are we to withstand the onslaught of evil, which seems to be gaining strength each and every day?
Our Lord doesn’t leave us orphans; indeed, He makes the Way for us. I believe, with my whole heart, that He has given to us in the Church the Devotion to Him as Jesus King of All Nations for this time, so that we may receive from Him His abundant promises of ALL THE GRACES we need to stand now as each one of us decides who it is we will serve and under whose reign we will live.
Please, will you help it be known that Jesus is extending to us His scepter of Mercy and that we may receive “Mercy, Peace, Justice, and All Good Things”, including the healings we need, protection from the coming Chastisement, and the grace of final perseverance?
Dan Lynch is the Guardian of the Holy Image of Jesus King of All Nations and the chief promoter of the Devotion. You know that he is a good man and that his heart is true. Will you please give consideration to his plea to help to spread the Devotion?
Devotional materials, including the Journal of messages from Our Lord, may be obtained from Dan Lynch Apostolates. Please obtain some of them for distributions to your family and friends.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Visitations of the Visitation Image of Jesus King of All Nations are for the mission of bringing the recognition of His reign on Earth. Our apostolate coordinates Visitations of the image to parishes and homes. We train local Guardian Teams for parish visitations. These Teams prepare for the Visitations in cooperation with the local pastors. The mission is supported by donations, free-will offerings and sales of religious goods.
The Visitations consist of Holy Hours of Prayer for Life, Peace and Protection from a booklet with the recitation of the prayers of the devotion and veneration of the Image. There is a talk explaining the Image and the messages of Jesus. Religious goods are available for sale to promote the devotion. The Visitations include works of mercy such as visits to hospitals, nursing homes, prisons and schools.
Perhaps Jesus is calling you to host a Parish or Home Visitation for Him. Learn how to host a Visitation here.
