THE PROPHECY OF POPE JOHN PAUL II ON THE TIME OF SECRETS: THE FINAL CLASH BETWEEN CHRIST AND THE ANTICHRIST

(…)In a speech given during that Eucharistic Congress in Philadelphia in 1976 to celebrate the bicentenary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Cardinal Karol Wojtyla uttered some words that I believe were prophetic:
“We now face the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I don’t think that either the broad circle of American society, nor the entire circle of the Christian community fully realizes this.
We are now faced with the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist.
The comparison falls within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God’s Plan, and it must be a test that the Church must take charge of and face with courage.”
Dear friend,
these extraordinary prophetic words of Cardinal K. Wojtyla, pronounced in a solemn context two years before his election to the Chair of Peter, confirm to us how Our Lady prepared this heroic defender of the faith for the great battle that awaited him.
At that time the Medjugorje apparitions had not yet begun, but her vision of the historical moment in which we live was already the one that the Queen of Peace would later reveal to us.
Now it has become clearer to us too that we have entered the eschatological battle in which the future of the Church and the world will be decided.
The sides are well defined: on one side the Woman clothed with the sun and on the other “the enormous red dragon” (Rev. 12, 3), regarding which the then Archbishop of Krakow had very precise ideas.
In a few lines the great battle prophesied in the ten secrets of Medjugorje is represented. We are faced with a prophetic vision that anticipates and confirms the apparitions of the Queen of Peace, in particular this decisive phase into which we have now entered.
I wonder, as Wojtyla asked, how many in society and in the Church have this awareness. Yet the signs of time are all too evident
Will the trumpets of the Apocalypse be able to wake up the souls who sleep the sleep of death?
