Medjugorje: Our Lady Reveals What Happens at the Last Day

Corinthians 15:51-53
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Paul reveals in this verse that God will, in fact, transform the “natural” bodies of Christians into glorified, or “spiritual” bodies, that will inherit God’s kingdom, after all. Paul found it necessary to confirm the certainty of our bodily resurrection and refute skeptics who refuse to believe in a physical resurrection. He detailed Christ’s own glorious Resurrection from the dead.

Keeping these hopeful and mysterious words in mind, first let us remember that Our Lady at Medjugorje often encourages us to read the Gospels. It has been said Our Lady is not here, among us, to reveal new things but to show us the way back to her son Jesus.

On November 2, 2019 in an Apparition she told the visionary: Mirjana
My children, read the book of the Gospel. It is always something new, it is what binds you to my Son who was born to bring the words of life to all of my children and to sacrifice Himself for all.

As we keep the little-known biblical words in mind about the transformation of our bodies at the time of death, let us recall what Our Lady revealed to the visionary Ivanka about that moment.

Ivanka says the Virgin Mary told her – “You go to Heaven in full conscience that which you have now. And at the moment of death, you are conscious of the separation of the body and soul…The body, drawn from the earth, decomposes after death; it never comes back to life again.” It is false to teach people that you are reborn many times and that you pass to different bodies. One is born only once. Man receives a transfigured body.”

Medjugorje visionary Marija says: “Only eternal life does not pass. And through the message that she gave us she said that our lives must be like a flower, and that we are here just in a passing way

She said our life will be very different; our attitude toward life will be very different, when we think of the life after this one and that here we are in this world on a passing path. Life on earth is transitional and eternity is our destiny.
