THE VIRGIN MARY AND END TIMES PROPHECY : ISRAEL, RUSSIA, GOG AND MAGOG – BE READY FOR WHAT IS COMING

By Stephen Ryan, Publisher of Mystic Post

Who can doubt the violence, the massacres, the lust for revenge taking place right now in the Holy Land is not of biblical proportions.

The Catholic Church has traditionally been hesitant to interpret end times prophecy in a literal way. However, there are certain passages in the Bible that speak of a great battle at the end of time between God’s people and the forces of evil. These passages are often interpreted as referring to the Battle of Gog and Magog, which is mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments and many experts believe that Russia and Israel will be the linchpin.

The recent conflict between Hamas and Israel is seen as confirmation of the biblical prophecies about the end times and the volatile and prophetic nature of the current era.

The current conflict in Israel may have a connection to end times prophecies, as past conflicts have been driven by opposition to Israel occupying the promised land, and recent events serve as a warning.

  •  The Jews were expelled from Jerusalem in 70 AD, but miraculously returned in 1948 as predicted by God and the Old Testament Prophets. Israel’s regathering in 1948 is seen as a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, indicating that end times prophecies are tied to the current conflict in Israel.

In the book of Ezekiel, the prophet Ezekiel describes a vision in which he sees a great army from the north invade Israel. This army is led by a king named Gog of Magog. Ezekiel predicts that God will intervene to defeat Gog and Magog, and that their armies will be destroyed.

In the book of Revelation, the apostle John also describes a great battle at the end of time between God’s people and the forces of evil. John refers to this battle as the Battle of Armageddon. He says that the armies of Gog and Magog will be among those who gather to fight against God’s people at Armageddon.

The Catholic Church teaches that the Battle of Gog and Magog will be a real event that will take place at the end of time. However, the Church does not offer any specific interpretations of the passages in Ezekiel and Revelation that describe this battle.

Some Catholic theologians believe that the Battle of Gog and Magog will be a literal war fought between Israel and Russia. They point to the fact that Russia is located to the north of Israel, and that the Bible says that the army of Gog and Magog will come from the north.

Other Catholic theologians believe that the Battle of Gog and Magog will be a spiritual battle between the forces of good and evil. They point to the fact that the Bible uses symbolic language when describing this battle. For example, John says that the armies of Gog and Magog will be as numerous as the sand on the seashore. This suggests that the Battle of Gog and Magog may not be a literal war, but rather a spiritual battle between good and evil.

Regardless of how the Battle of Gog and Magog is interpreted, the Catholic Church teaches that it will be a real event that will take place at the end of time. This event will mark the final victory of God over evil.

  • The Catholic Church teaches that the end times will be a time of great tribulation for the world. However, the Church also teaches that God will be with his people during this time, and that he will ultimately triumph over evil.
  • The Catholic Church teaches that the end times will also be a time of great hope. The Church believes that the end times will mark the beginning of a new era of peace and justice for all people.
  • The Catholic Church encourages Christians to pray for peace and to work for justice in the world. The Church also encourages Christians to prepare for the end times by living a life of faith and love.

The Virgin Mary, Biblical End Times, and Gog and Magog

The Virgin Mary is a central figure in Catholic end times prophecy. Catholics believe that Mary has a special role to play in the Second Coming of Christ and the final victory over evil.

In the book of Revelation, the apostle John describes a vision of a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. This woman is often interpreted as representing the Virgin Mary. The woman in Revelation is also described as giving birth to a male child who is destined to rule all nations. This male child is often interpreted as representing Jesus Christ.

Some Catholics believe that the woman in Revelation represents the Church as a whole. Others believe that the woman represents the Virgin Mary in a special way. Regardless of how the woman is interpreted, the passage in Revelation suggests that Mary has an important role to play in the end times.

Catholics also believe that the Virgin Mary is a powerful intercessor who can pray for us and help us to overcome evil. Many Catholics pray to Mary for protection from the Antichrist and the forces of evil in the end times.

In the context of the Battle of Gog and Magog, some Catholics believe that the Virgin Mary will play a special role in the defeat of Gog and Magog. They point to the fact that the Virgin Mary is often depicted as crushing a serpent under her foot. This serpent is often interpreted as representing Satan. Catholics believe that Mary will help to defeat Gog and Magog, who are seen as allies of Satan.

Here are some additional thoughts on the Virgin Mary, biblical end times, and Gog and Magog:

  • The Virgin Mary is a model of faith and hope for Christians. She trusted in God’s plan, even when it was difficult to understand. Catholics believe that Mary can teach us how to trust in God’s plan, even in the midst of the trials and tribulations of the end times.
  • The Virgin Mary is a source of strength and protection for Christians. Catholics believe that Mary can pray for us and help us to overcome evil. Many Catholics pray to Mary for protection from the Antichrist and the forces of evil in the end times.
  • The Virgin Mary is a reminder of God’s love for us. Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, who is the perfect image of God’s love. Catholics believe that Mary can help us to experience God’s love in a deeper way, especially in the midst of the trials and tribulations of the end times.

The Catholic Church encourages Christians to pray to the Virgin Mary and to seek her intercession. The Church also encourages Christians to imitate Mary’s faith and hope. By doing so, Christians can prepare themselves for the end times and for the final victory of Christ over evil.

Here are 5 biblical reasons why Israel will be part of end times prophecy:

  1. Israel is the chosen people of God. The Bible records that God chose Israel to be his special people, and that he made a covenant with them. This covenant promised that God would bless Israel and protect them, and that Israel would be a light to the nations.
  2. Israel is the land of prophecy. The Bible contains many prophecies about Israel, including prophecies about their future return to their homeland and their role in the end times.
  3. Jerusalem is the holy city of God. The Bible teaches that Jerusalem is the special place where God’s presence dwells. It is also the place where Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected.
  4. The Antichrist will target Israel. The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist will target Israel and Jerusalem in the end times. He will try to destroy Israel and make himself the object of worship in Jerusalem.
  5. Israel will be saved in the end. The Bible prophesies that God will save Israel in the end times. He will destroy the Antichrist and his armies, and he will establish a new kingdom of peace and justice on earth.

These are just a few of the biblical reasons why Israel will be a central part of end times prophecy. The Bible teaches that God has a special plan for Israel, and that they will play an important role in the fulfillment of his plan.

It is important to note that there are a variety of different interpretations of end times prophecy among Christians. The Catholic Church does not offer any definitive interpretations of these prophecies. However, the Church does teach that the end times will be a time of great tribulation for the world, but that God will ultimately triumph over evil.
