Not many know that Padre Pio, among the many gifts, had a very special one, that of prophecy, and Jesus Christ himself communicated with him. In a 1959 letter addressed to his superior, Padre Pio recounted the revelation that Jesus had made to him about the end of the world. The letter has been controversial and some wanted to keep it a secret.

Here are the revelations from Jesus to Padre Pio

1st – The world is going to ruin. Men have abandoned the right path, to venture into paths that end in the desert of violence … If they do not immediately return to drink at the source of humility, charity and love, it will be catastrophe. The epistle is rather long and full of messages, for which we will consider only an extract with 12 messages taken from the book by Renzo Baschera The great prophets.

2nd – Terrible things will come. I can no longer intercede for men. Divine piety is about to end. Man was created to love life, and ended up destroying life …

3rd – When the world was entrusted to man it was a garden. The man turned him into a poison full of poisons. Nothing now serves to purify the home of man. A profound work is needed, which can only come from heaven.

4th – Get ready to live three days in total darkness. These three days are very close … And in these days you will remain as dead, without eating and without drinking. Then the light will come back. But many men will never see her again.

5th – Many people will run away in shock. But he will run without a goal. They will say that there is salvation in the east and people will run east, but they will fall on a cliff. They will say that there is salvation in the west and people will run west, but they will fall into a furnace.

6th – The earth will tremble and panic will be great … The earth is sick. The earthquake will be like a snake: you will hear it crawl from all sides. And many stones will fall. And many men will perish.

7th – You are like ants, because the time will come when men will take their eyes off for a crumb of bread. The shops will be looted, the warehouses will be stormed and destroyed. The poor will be the one who in those dark days will find himself without a candle, without a jug of water and without the necessary for three months.

8th – A land will disappear … a great land. A country will be erased forever from maps … And with it history, wealth and men will be dragged through the mud.

9th – Man’s love for man has become an empty word. How can you expect Jesus to love you, if you do not know how to love even those who eat at your own table? … The wrath of God will not spare men of science, but men of heart.

10th – I am desperate … I don’t know what to do anymore for humanity to repent. If he continues on this path, God’s tremendous anger will be unleashed like a tremendous lightning bolt.

11 ° – A meteor will fall on the earth and everything will startle. It will be a disaster, much worse than a war. Many things will be canceled. And this will be one of the signs …

12th – Men will live a tragic experience. Many will be overwhelmed by the river, many will be incinerated by the fire, many will be buried by poisons … But I will remain close to the pure in heart. May will be a tragic month.

When will this day be? The key is in the Bible itself, in 2 Peter 3, 2-13: “The day of the Lord will come like a thief” …

To know what America’s future holds, know what the past has already revealed.

Could a modern prophecy and a mysterious message that was given to six children on a rocky hill in a remote village determine the events of our day?

Could some of the most famous people of modern history and current events be secretly linked to this mystery including the President of the United States and the leader of Russia?

Could a series of mysterious phenomenon be manifesting itself on the world stage on an exact timetable that is secretly known by the six children?

Could these manifestations be altering the course of world events?

It is a known fact that two eminent blesseds (and future saints) of the twentieth-century, Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa of Calcutta, had a devotion to the apparitions in Medjugorje, reporting to unite themselves in prayer each day with the Madonna of Medjugorje.

It is, however, a lesser known fact that Padre Pio, the great Italian mystic, stigmatic, and saint, also had a connection to the events in Medjugorje. Even though he died years before the apparitions began, Padre Pio made two magnificent prophecies regarding two separate mystical events that would come from Medjugorje: one regarded the apparitions, while the other regarded the weeping statue of the Madonna from Medjugorje that would gain international fame in Civitivecchia, Italy.

In 1994, Don Pablo Martin was the parish priest of Saint Agostino’s Church in the Pantano district of Civitivecchia in Italy, the area where the statue from Medjugorje—later dubbed “the Virgin of Civitivecchia”—would gain international attention. It was Don Pablo who, making a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in September of that year, bought a sixteen-inch, white plaster statue of the Virgin as a souvenir from Medjugorje.

It is interesting to note that, in his spiritual life, Don Pablo had a strong devotion to Padre Pio – even before Saint Pio was officially canonized by John Paul II in 2002. This devotion is noteworthy because Don Pablo credits Padre Pio’s intercession with helping him select that statue from Medjugorje that would weep tears of blood on 14 different occasions.

It was Padre Pio who assured him, according to Don Pablo, that “the most beautiful event of his life” would result for selecting and buying that statue. Randall Sullivan reported this connection, between Padre Pio and the weeping statue from Medjugorje, in this book The Miracle Detective. The fact that Padre Pio had been dead since 1968 made this message—seemingly a spiritual communication—that much more interesting.

Yet, it deserves mention that even when Saint Pio walked the earth and greeted pilgrims in his friary, in San Giovanni Rotondo, he made what is believed to be a prophecy about the coming of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Medjugorje.

In her book A Spark from Heaven, the BBC journalist Mary Craig reports that a few years before the apparitions in Medjugorje began, Padre Pio had told a group of pilgrims who were visiting him from the diocese of Mostar: “The Blessed Virgin Mary will soon be visiting your homeland.”

Medjugorje exists within the Mostar diocese, making Saint Pio’s prophecy that much more remarkable.

Of course, Padre Pio was a saint who was famous for his various spiritual gifts. God had given him incredible graces. He had, among other things, the ability to heal, the ability to read souls in the confessional, the ability to bilocate, the ability to experience visions of Jesus and Mary and his guardian angel, and – apparently – the ability to prophesy. It should, therefore, come as no surprise that the great saint’s connection to Medjugorje, in both prophesying the coming of the Madonna’s apparitions and interceding in Don Pablo’s selection of the Marian statue that would shed tears, is a very plausible reality.

The bishop of Civitavecchia Gerolmo Grillo reported that in 1995, the same year that the statue from Medjugorje began crying tears of blood, Pope John Paul II asked to have the statue brought to the Vatican. When the statue was brought to the Holy See, John Paul II venerated the Madonna with great reverence, praying before the statue and, after his humble prayer, placing a crown on the head of the Virgin – a crown which the pope himself brought for the occasion.
