Our Lady in a recent message from Medjugorje invited us to rediscover authentic faith

Medjugorje: Message of July 2, 2019

Dear children, according to the will of the merciful Father, I have given you and will still give you clear signs of my maternal presence. My children, it is for my maternal desire for the healing of souls. It is because of the desire that every child of mine has an authentic faith, that lives prodigious experiences by drinking at the source of the Word of my Son, of the Word of life. My children, with his love and sacrifice, my Son brought the light of faith into the world and showed you the way of faith.

Because, my children, faith raises pain and suffering. Authentic faith makes prayer more sensitive, performs works of mercy: a dialogue, an offering. Those children of mine who have faith, an authentic faith, are happy in spite of everything, because they live on earth the beginning of the happiness of Heaven. Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, I invite you to give an example of authentic faith, to bring light where there is darkness, to live my Son.

My children, as Mother I tell you: you cannot walk the way of faith and follow my Son without your pastors. Pray that they have the strength and love to guide you. Your prayers are always with them. Thank you.

Medjugorje: Reflections on the last message of July 2, 2019

Mary begins to speak by remembering that she is here and works by the will of the Father. Her mission as co-redeemer of the world is to heal our souls from the wounds of evil. Our Lady wants to bring them all back to authentic faith in Christ so that they may experience the greatness of the Father through the Word, illuminated by the Holy Spirit. His presence in our midst will continue to manifest, through obvious signs, to every open heart. Medjugorje: Jesus brought light into the world

Christ sacrificed himself for us on the cross for this. The ultimate example of love for others based on authentic faith in the Father, so Jesus made himself light of the world, through truth and life. My children, with his love and sacrifice, my Son brought the light of faith into the world and showed you the way of faith.

Authentic faith gives us the strength to go beyond the earthly difficulties of looking at the final prize, it helps us to be close to those in need to be charitable towards each other with their hearts: faith raises pain and suffering. Authentic faith makes prayer more sensitive, performs works of mercy: a dialogue, an offering.

This self-giving is the true treasure that fills our lives with that joy that we can only understand and share with the Father in Heaven. Those children of mine who have faith, an authentic faith, are happy in spite of everything, because they live on earth the beginning of the happiness of Heaven. And those of us who have this grace shines with a different light that comes precisely from its authentic and unconditional faith. In this regard the evangelist Luke wrote: The good man draws good from the good treasure of his heart; the bad man from his bad treasure draws out evil, because the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart (Lk 6:45).

What’s in our heart?

So what’s in our heart? Does the Word of God find a place there? What is our treasure made of? Do we ever ask? We Christians are called to be an example and light to the world: Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, I invite you to set an example of authentic faith, to bring light where there is darkness, to live my Son. How can we live following Jesus if he doesn’t live in us? And Mary gives a fundamental answer to this question: My children, as Mother I say to you: you cannot walk the way of faith and follow my Son without your pastors.

How many of us have a father or a spiritual guide? To come into this world, to be born, or to have life, we needed a father as well as a mother. Well, are we sure we can get eternal life without a spiritual father? A guide is essential for our journey and for our discernment.This is why Mary always asks us to pray for our pastors, so that our guides will be ever more full of the Spirit towards conversion and salvation. Pray that they have the strength and love to guide you. Your prayers are always with them.

Mary Queen of Peace we thank you for your continuous manifestations of love. Protect us under your mantle and give us your faith. Because, through your eyes, we too can see that happiness that awaits us in Heaven and live it today here on earth. Amen
