Today we offer a prayer to Jesus that can be a medicine for a world that is falling into darkness:
Lord Jesus, I believe in your words: “Do not be afraid, it is I! … Receive the Holy Spirit”. I thank you because I know you have not given me a Spirit of fear, but a Spirit of peace and joy, a Spirit of love and unity. Thank you so that you repeat to my heart: “I say that if you believe, you will see the glory of God!”.

I put myself under the protection of the Blood of Jesus and I am no longer afraid of the pitfalls of the wicked, of the spirits of evil, of any curse or infestation. In the name of Jesus, clinging to his holy Cross, nothing can disturb me. If Jesus himself is with me, who will be against me? With him nothing scares me: sickness, death, poverty, abandonment, can do nothing against me. In the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of his Blood, by the power of the Holy Spirit, he drives out from my heart, my mind and my body every spirit of fear and disturbance.
